Vocational Training

VHS Vocational training programs  focus  on developing practical skills for real jobs of Intellectually challenged children. Our students learn hands-on skills that prepare them for specific careers or workplace tasks.

VHS Vocational training programs include:

  • Basic job skills – following instructions, time management, teamwork.
  • Practical skills – cooking, sewing, gardening, hand craft making
  • Workplace behaviour – communication, responsibility, problem-solving.
  • Career exploration – trying different job areas to see what fits best.
  • Supported internships or on-the-job training – learning directly in a real work environment with guidance.

The goal of vocational training is to help students become more independent, gain confidence, and prepare for employment or community participation. It bridges the gap between school and the adult world by giving learners the skills they need to succeed in everyday work life.
